LOCATION: Oregon
COMPENSATION: Salary of $26,353 - $38,209 based on experience
DURATION: Starts Mid-April 2010; 40hrs/wk

TASKS INCLUDE:
  • Assist the Audience Development Manager in expanding and enhancing the diversity of our audience
  • Strategic planning and implementation to attract new and diverse audiences
  • Develop and maintain systems of information in both Spanish and English
  • Serve as group sales specialist assiting travel planners in creating tours and itineraries
  • Organize special events and coordinat event logistics
  • Serve as OSF representative at community events
  • Serve as support staff for special projects

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
  • Organized and detail-orientated
  • Experience with multicultural communities
  • Relevant coursework and experience in marketing or event planning
  • Preferred candidate will have a college degree with concentration in marketing
  • 3-4 years experience with administrative support and business background
  • Business background with emphasis in marketing, grant reporting, community relations, customer service, strong event planning experience
  • Knowledge of advertising, sales and marketing
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with customer databases
  • Ability to quickly learn ticketing software
  • Fluency in conversational Spanish preferred but not required
  • Experience working with multicultural organizations preferred
  • Possess valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
