LOCATION: New Berlin, WI
COMPENSATION: Unpaid; Academic credit may be available
DURATION: Unspecified length; 10-20 hours a week

TASKS INCLUDE:
- Conduct research and compile information to assist in pitching stories
- Prepare press releases
- Assist in maintaining multiple media databases
- Assist with social media efforts via updating Facebook, Twitter, CamoSpace and other accounts Organize and track media coverage and customer/viewer comments into biweekly and monthly reports
- Proofread/edit articles, advertisements and collateral material
- Fulfill and ship donation requests
- Provide administrative support to Communications and Administrative staff as needed
QUALIFICATONS INCLUDE:
- At least junior standing
- Majoring in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
- Organized, detail-orientated
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Can take direction well – and can provide direction for yourself when in-between projects
