TASKS INCLUDE:
  • Calculate public relations advertising value for monthly report

  • Provide copy for bi-monthly travel writer e-newsletter, monthly phone "on hold" recorded message
  • Assist in development of travel writer itinerarie and media familiarization trips
  • Compile research as needed relating to media lists, miscellaneous travel industry information, publication profiles and circulation, etc,
  • Miscellaneous copywriting for advertorials, fact sheets, Web introduction, etc,
  • Update media lists and media kit information as needed
  • Enter public relations department information into Destinations 3000 database

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Team player with professional attitude and appearance
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
    Aptitude to learn new computer programs/software.
  • Students with declared major in public relations, communications OR journalism preferred
