U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Program; Intern; up to 25 positions

LOCATION: One of 90 U.S. Clean Cities
COMPENSATION: $7,000 stipend; potential to be hired on for permanent position
DURATION: June 1 - August 16, 2010; Full-Time

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Build public awareness of advanced vehicle technologies alternative fuels and practies that reduce the consumption of petroleum
• Work with Clean Cities coordinators and their stakeholders
• Help the nation reduce its dependence on petroleum, lower carbon and local air pollutant emissions and build a green economy!

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Jr. or Sr. undergraduate OR graduate student
• Studying: communications, public relations, business, marketing, engineering, or environmental sciences

COMPENSATION: Paid (honorarium) housing and transportation to and from New Orleans provided
